BEACHES

Moriara has several kilometres of coastline with sandy beaches, rocky beaches, coves and open beaches, all of them of such quality as to be awarded with the blue flag of the european community. A couple of favourites are described below.

Less than 5 minutes from the Villa you will find the beaches of Platgetes which are of easy access; they are half of golden sand and half rocky. Parking area, restaurants and showers are available.

Playa del Portet is about 10 minutes from the Villa. It is a small inlet of shell form, usually with transparent waters, a superb setting for a peaceful swim. Facilities such as restaurants, showers, parking area are available.

In Moraira, 5-10 minutes from the Villa, is the beach of L'Ampolla at the foot of the castle. Of golden sand, it is the largest and most popular beach in the area, with an excellent range of facilities such as games, hammocks, washbasins for the feet, a watch tower, restaurants, and a parking area.
